The Presales Executive is responsible for supporting the sales team by understanding customer requirements, preparing proposals, conducting product/service presentations, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and the internal team. The role combines customer interaction, technical understanding, and sales coordination to help close deals effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & Requirement Gathering
Engage with potential customers to understand their needs.
Qualify leads generated through marketing, networking, and cold calls.
Proposal & Presentation Preparation
Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and cost estimates.
Conduct product/service demos, presentations, and walkthroughs.
Client Interaction & Relationship Management
Address customer queries promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients.
Coordination with Sales & Technical Teams
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure aligned solutions.
Provide technical or product knowledge support to sales staff.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed records of client interactions and requirements.
Prepare periodic reports on lead status, conversion rates, and client feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in presales, sales support, or customer-facing roles.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of products/services relevant to the company’s industry.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and email communication.
